I was a resident at New Hope 2 years ago and that place is life changing. Brought me a long way to notice that it’s not all my fault and I’ll become the person I wanted to be when I’m ready! Staff was very helpful and beyond the best staff I’ve ever seen. Teachers make sure you work and earn your right credits. Food amazing and cooking staff always watching how much calories and portions to give their residents which was amazing! Lost a lot of weight in positive healthy ways that I needed! I lived here as a 16 year old child. I am 43 years old now. If you have a child here get them out. This place gave me so much PTSD, anxiety, and fear that I still deal with as an adult. There is a time out room with metal walls and a concrete floor, metal door in the older house this is how you was punished if you wasn't being restrained like a criminal. They lie to parents and DFS when they talk to there children to make your kid sound like a liar. These children homes are worse then any abuse I recieved at home. I am a sur... read more
