I was a real knucklehead coming into the program. I started out the program only planning to do the minimum required. I was disappointed that the program was not co-ed just because I was looking for another way to not take my program seriously. I planned to stay for only 42 days. After being there for 41 days I realized that there is a better way to live. At this point instead of leaving I stayed another 90 days for a total of 130 days. I came through the program after having been deep in my addiction for almost 19 years and it truly saved my life. I had been living on the streets for four years. This program really gets to the root of the addiction so you can learn the right tools to never have to use drugs or alcohol again. The staff is very knowledgeable, and respectful to everyone. Do not be fooled by the pictures on the web page. Those are very old pictures and of the woman's facility. The men's facility is old and ran down. very dirty and the patients all have to do the cleaning and cooking and pretty much all of the counseling aswell. The patients are bullied by the counselors and all the "classes" are taught with material that is well over 20 years old and outdated.
