I called to ask if my marriage license (which my officiant mailed) was received and the lady who answered the phone was incredibly rude and condescending. First I was told to ask the officiant (again, she mailed it so how would she know if it had been received) and then was told that they can’t tell me if it was received over the phone and my only options were to come there to check or fill out the online form and IF they had received it, they would respond. Could not upload a Pic of my drivers license
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This office is absolutely impossible to get in touch with. I’ve left several messages over the course of the last few weeks. I got married 06/29th in New Haven and do not live close so I have called MANY times and left messages to verify if my marriage license was able to be picked up if all the paperwork was in and they do not return calls.
