Our family's experience with New Haven Funeral Service made the untimely death of our brother/son so much worse!!! We had zero say in any of the proceedings, funeral arrangements, or service. We were side lined at our own family members funeral by others who were able to make all the arrangements without our input or consent. We are still waiting for the death certificate months after his cremation - due to New Haven not noticing an error in the paperwork, despite numerous calls enquiring about the delay. A nice memory! I haven't seen Ed (Grant) for too many years but knew him, decades ago, as a wonderfully friendly, wise (and savvy!) fellow who was always a joy (and inspiration) to be with. A particularly fond memory of Ed goes back to an incident decades ago when Ed drove the ex-President of Yale's widow to her summer home in Maine, and stopped off on his way home at our ex-summer home in Maine to spend the the night .
