First, the good: the Executive Director (Roxanne Figures) seems very genuine, the facility appears clean and orderly, and visiting family members that I spoke to on different occasions (there to visit their loved one) all said they were happy with the care being provided. That said, we decided against placing our loved one here, as we learned (unfortunately just after putting down a deposit on a room) that not only are the phone lines (landlines) in residents' rooms not operable -- but the phone line to the facility itself i... read more
Every time I step into New Haven, it’s a breath of fresh air! I have had experience with many Assisted Living/Memory Cares in my time. I have never met an Executive Director like Roxanne who cares so deeply about her residents!
Our experience as a family has been outstanding with Roxanne and her staff. They are exactly what our mother needed during a time of uncertainty and mental health concerns. It's been over 2 years and mom is doing much better. Thanks to New Haven and their caring culture.
