The staff was wonderful even dealing with poor conditions. Nurse Caitlyn and Jayne did a great job and were very efficient. The doctor was down to earth and straight forward with excellent bedside manner. The rest of the staff from registration, security, hospitality to radiology and labs were all very nice and expedited the whole process. It is unfortunate that the ER was very over crowded as there are just not enough rooms for patients.
The state needs to take this hospital over. I went in couldn't breath I have congestive heart failure and lymphadema l. I was in the hall on a stretcher. I couldn't breath was trying to get a nurse. Forty minutes later they came over my oxygen tank ran out. What the heck hospital does that. They need another hospital or fix this one until they kill someone. I be better off at a vet.
When leaving the emergency room, they were going to send my prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy so I can pick it up immediately. Discharging me they told me they sent it to my regular pharmacy which is not a 24-hour pharmacy so I asked them to change it because I needed the medicine urgently. The guy that gave me my discharge papers that I only seen for discharging me told me that the pharmacy I was referring to was not open that they didn't have any staff available.
