ER physician Brandon Smallwood. This physician is apathetic, disrespectful, and dismissive of patient concerns. I went to New Hanover because I thought they had high standards and delivered quality care to their patients. I came in with a broken collarbone, These people tell me its the most painful bone to break, and they wont prescribe me with painkillers. WHAT KIND OF TREATMENT IS THIS???
From Front Door greeter who walked me to the receptionist( who was an RN), to the Doctor, each person was pleasant, competent and efficient. I was quite pleased with the care, explanations and atmosphere. Thank you to the wonderful staff.
I wish there was an option for 0 stars. Came in, terrified I was about to go into anaphylactic shock from an allergic reaction. Chest pains, dizzy, nauseous, confusion, swelling in the face, feeling faint. I was experiencing symptoms I had never experienced before, my last reaction was around ten years ago. They got me in quickly, which was the only good part about this entire experience. Three separate nurses came in, asking, "Hey, what are you in here for?"
