The receptionist at the Bar Association needs to be retrained, retooled or fired! She has no concept about what she is talking about. She is clueless on federal vs. state cases!
The definition of an organization is to be an organized body. The NH Bar Association is anything but. Case in point. On their website, they promote a free legal advice service every 2nd Wed of the month from 6-8p. Upon trying to call, I never got a live person but rather automated messages like 'the party you called is not accepting calls at this time' or 'the mailbox is full - goodbye'. If you call here, you basically get a passive aggressive voicemail that tells you where to stick it. It doesn’t seem to be a professional organization.
