This by far was the most painless experience! The most pain was dealing with the other person's insurance company. My car was in an auto accident on the 25th of January. The insurance information was completed on February 26. This company waited for me to get the deductable together, and not one time were they rude, or impatient. I was able to finally take my car to them on April 15. Tony was who I dealt with. He was super understanding from the minute he contacted me about my deductable, down to the time my car was complete... read more
I am surprised to see these guys have bad reviews. I brought my brand new car to them because someone hit me only 2 days after I bought it I was devastated. The owner and workers treated me very nice they are respectful and professional that's only one of the reasons why I decided to write a review for them the other is the fast and excellent work they did on my car. It looks like the accident never even happened (on a brand new car!) I am very happy with their service and work. I would definitely be back if I ever need them... read more
Buy a can of spray paint, get a blind fold and do it yourself, the job will be better. This place trashed my classic car, they lost in arbitration and court. Between filing his appeal and superior court, Hector changed "ownership" to another family member. This past July (2014), Hector filed chapter 13 (again!). Between damage to my car and court costs, I am out over $50,000. If you don't believe me, go ahead and give them a try. If you do go there, make sure your windows are up too.
in October of 2010 my Dodge Ram 1500 was damaged during the hailstorm in Phoenix Arizona took my truck to Grand Prix auto body and they took care of it through my insurance and it took them 3 weeks had a hard time with them a lot of running around and was not very pleased with the job they did nevertheless did work came with a six year warranty and I just took it back to have them redo some spots that were fading it took them 2 weeks to get my truck back to me and the job is still not done right I was giving a lot of attitud... read more
Well, This place is under new management, And alot of changes were made, Good changes may I add, This place no longer sucks, the paint is better, The body work, EVERYTHING!!!!.
One of the long-standing problems with automotive paint is that it's toxic and thus terrible for the environment. Water-based paint provides a viable alternative, as it is non-toxic and can be applied over existing paint.
When it comes to automotive paint, acrylic enamel is much harder than lacquer, which means that it stands up to the elements much better. This type of paint is usually baked on to the car.
Did you know that the paint on your car is not only intended to make your car attractive? It also serves a structural function, protecting the car from damage from weather, scratches and dings, and everyday dirt.
Although acrylic lacquer automotive paint was already a popular option in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, during the 1950s an improved version came out and this became the primary paint used for such brands as Rolls Royce.
