Dr. Naal was my mother’s family doctor, but unfortunately, he consistently dismissed her health concerns. During her last visit, she specifically requested to have her blood pressure checked but Dr. Naal refused. Concerned for her well-being, I decided to switch her to a new physician. When my Doctor of almost 30 years sent me a letter stating that he would be closing his practice due to over head cost I felt like I was hit by a fast moving train. I cried because Dr. Manfred Popke was not only a doctor he was a humanitarian. He always made time for his patients so losing him was a very terrible time for me. Great doctors. Horrible -unprofessional receptionists. They need better front end staff with such a busy office. By far the worst medical receptionists in the Edmonton area.
The staff and doctors are all nice and friendly. But the waiting time is awful. Maximum waiting time I had was 2 hours just to see my doctor even if I had an appointment. There are times it’s fast if there are few patients without walk ins. Maybe try not to over book the schedule of the doctors so patients can be seen immediately especially if the concern is contagious to other patients in the waiting room.
Today , Sunday , I had an appointment with Dr Shibani , who is very good doctor. I am his regular patient. My appointment was at 12.40 pm on Sunday / 7th September, but when I checked in around 12.37 pm , the front lady told me I’m late 10 mins , according to her , it was 12.30 pm , but when I booked , they told me 12.40 pm . I was waiting for long time there . I was in severe pain .The receptionist/ secretary whatever, white lady / blonde hair , she was so rude , so disrespectful, doesn’t know any manner , very arrogant.
