I’ve lived in New Glarus for 25 years. I recently retired so now have a lot of “at home projects”. It WAS nice to have a Hardware store that was close and convenient. In fact I bet I’ve been there a half dozen times in the past month. Today I went and rented a Carpet Cleaner. Got there about 1:45 and told them I’d like to rent one. I was asked if I wanted it for 24 hours and I said no just the afternoon. I asked what time they closed and was told it needed to be back by 7:00. Poor service and rude employees. They need to retrain their employees in customer service. I won t go back there.
