I’m not sure what it is, but staff here seem to be always miserable. Ringing up a sale or helping a customer seems such a chore for them. And they’re not very busy. We end up driving the extra 15 minutes to the one in Bridgewater. Nicer customer service would definitely help their business.
This is a small store, but has a good selection of odd things which are hard to find in the Bridgewater stores. The staff are really nice there and will help you in a heartbeat. And unlike the competitors, New Germany will sell screws and nails by the individual pound without robbing you.
They don't carry metric fasteners....

Great staff. Even though it’s a smaller location they’ve always had what I’ve needed.
