Very good food the food is piping hot when it comes out so let it cool before you take a mouthful and they have fried green tomatoes and I love their country fried steak and I’ve had their chicken and dressing and that’s good. Also Don the greeter is extremely nice and greets and says hello and goodbye to everybody.
Breakfast was Awesome
My grandma took me here after we were done with the farmer's market. This is a cash only restaurant, which she forgot until we pulled in, so we both had biscuits and sausage gravy since we only had a $20 between the two of us. It ended up being just perfect for the both of us! Gravy was just the right temp, and the biscuit was nice and fresh, and the one biscuit filled us both right up! Will definitely go to the ATM next door and take my partner here next time we're in town
Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. We waited nearly an hour for our food despite the restaurant not even being full. After such a long wait, we expected the food to be worth it, but it was quite the opposite. The fried chicken was tough and overcooked, the green beans were so salty they were almost inedible, and the pancakes were excessively greasy. This place was like walking into Grandma's Kitchen. Staff felt like family. Food felt like home. Looking forward to trying their dinner options.
