New Gen Electric was at my home to fix a problem I was having with my outlets. He concluded after looking at only the outlets, that they weren’t working because there was a problem with the connection. He replaced the outlets and was on his way. He did not assess any further even though I had said we were having problems with others in the house and he did not check our electrical panel to make sure there wasn’t a problem there. We had some work completed by these guys back in the summer of 2021. The work itself was great. Justin and Colin were very pleasant and professional. The problem began when we hired them to perform a load calculation for us. This was to be submitted to the county as part of a permit application. When I submitted the numbers to the county (provided by New Gen Electric), their response was literally: "where did you get these numbers from?" I found New Gen Electric via Facebook, and was impressed by the before and after photos of previous customers. I was looking to replace the old outdated track lighting in my kitchen, and add lighting in my living room as there was none. They were able to come out to my location (outside of Edmonton) and provide me a quote. They were excellent in explaining the process of what they do, and where they would put the lights for maximum efficiency. The quote came back very reasonable for what I wanted and the work involved.
