Horrid, unethical, dishonest and deceitful in so many ways. My mother in law was convinced several times she should refinance her home to save $25 or so each month. Almost every year they would call her and send paperwork for her to sign. She thought if they did the paperwork for her, she was obligated to sign them and do the loan. They are a terrible financial institution. They tried to charge you fees it everywhere they can. Avoid using them at all costs

The worse mortgage company, the customer service is clueless and have no professionalism. Freedom mortgage has no interest in doing good business.

My home mortgage is being serviced by them after closing and it is the worst. They don’t have any email communication functionality. They have to mail you a paper statement like it was 1985. The only allow full payments, so you can’t split it up over each paycheck. Support can only read off pre-approved answers

If I could give them a 0 I would. I am 100% property tax exempt due to my Veteran's disability. I submitted all the documents to my county and was informed by Freedom Mortgage they would process my escrow refund once they received the property tax waiver in October. October came and I received a check for 184.00 one of the twelve months they have been holding for escrow.
