Lauren at New Florence is the absolute best! Everyone in my life knows her as my Hair Artist. Everything she does with my hair is so elevated. Her dry cutting method is rooted in deep knowledge and experience with curly hair growth patterns, and she brings out my hair’s natural texture and personality. I have thick wavy/curly hair. This review is long overdue but 5 stars all around for Lauren Klein! Besides a haircut, I also went in hoping to learn more about how to care for my hair and what types of products I should be using. Lauren was a gem in all these areas. She was so kind and patient with my questions and helped me understand my hair texture. Left feeling confident about my relationship with my hair. Shout out to Lauren!
New Florence Salon is in Emeryville on a quiet street with plenty of parking. Coffee/tea/sparkling water are available when you enter. Very low key place. Lauren does amazing curly cuts with minimal product; my hair retains its shape long after my visit, and I get tons of compliments. I am a return customer and highly recommend! So glad I found this place!
