Food was wonderful & the place is cute, but food took forever to arrive. It really shouldn’t have taken an hour & a half for us to get sushi, especially when other tables who arrived way after us received their entrees before we did. Bit disappointing.
This was my first time, thank you to my brother. This place is amazing. The service will get you, the food is 10/10. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you Jessie 🫶
Man, if you're lookin' for a spot that fuses Japanese and Latin flavors, Tsukiji Sushi Sake Bar over on Grand Ave is where it's at. Dropped about $50 and kicked things off with their Lobster Wontons—crispy pockets of goodness with that sweet chili sauce. Then dove into the Chicago Fire roll; that baked salmon with the spicy masago mayo had the perfect kick. Also tried the Fat Buddha roll—shrimp tempura and cream cheese topped with honey mayo and tobiko. The vibe's cozy yet trendy, and the staff makes you feel right at home.
