My kids love their classes at New Era! We switched from another martial arts place a few years ago bc it wasn’t a good fit and we are so glad we did! The instructors are patient and encouraging while keeping the classes fun and engaging. It’s my kids’ favorite part of the week!
Before my son joined New Era he struggled with balancing his confidence and emotions. He was also in OT for sensory challenges. Since coming to New Era, my son has learned how to manage most of his sensory challenges and has become more confident in himself and is continuing to grow in managing his emotions. What a blessing it is to have New Era in our lives. My daughter has now joined the New Era family and has already made friends from her 1st class. Master L and Deshi are patient and kind and have fun with the kids.
The program here is great. Sansei and Deshi are good instructors, very patient and fun to work with. They’re great with the kids and keep them focused. The kids learn about self defense, what to do in a bullying situation, how to respect each other and discipline. Classes are for Adults and Children.
New Era is top notch. Master L and Deshi are absolutely phenomenal with their teaching style and are great with connecting with the kids, making things fun, and incorporating good morals. My daughter looks forward to class every week. Thank you all for what you do!

My daughter has learned so much and made some really sweet friends. She's become more confident with the moves through practice and has already gotten stripes on her belt from all her hard work.
