Being in the collision repair business we see a lot of things come through the shop. A few of his “specimens” have rolled through and let me tell ya, he is an amateur. Anyone who touts “POR 15” is an amateur looking for a quick buck. It is a horrible product that does more damage in the long run than good. Only proper frame refinish is to completely sandblast, use an epoxy primer and epoxy chassis paint. I have seen their welds too…. Scary stuff. He does amateur work at top rate pay. I would highly recommend staying away.
Had my 2016 Duramax undercoated by NEU and they did an awful job. Whoever they had completing the work didn’t properly prep the frame. There was dirt and caked up material in corners on the frame and if I didn’t physically go under the truck to check, it would’ve been missed upon pick up. I paid extra for an additional top coat, totaling over $2k and the truck was ruined. He refused to fix it nor did he offer any kind of refund so I can pay someone else to fix his work. Excellent service, excellent communication, excellent product, excellent end result. I could not be happier with the team at NEU. Just had my second 4Runner done. Came down from VT. Truck looks better than new.
