Delicious and healthy food for a reasonable price! Was craving a salad but not wanting to spend $15 at other local places just to be hungry again in 20 minutes. The beet/goat cheese/walnut salad was filling and delicious for less than $10. I’ve been craving it since!
The Soup Factory in Salem has been my favorite lunch spot for 15 years since I was a college student in Salem. The chicken stock is so rich and delicious and the daily specials are always amazing. The staff are always kind and helpful. This is my comfort place!
if the mulligatawny was a permanent menu item i would be in here once a week minimum. such a delicious meal for a cold day! and under $10 you just can’t beat in downtown. everything else i’ve had here has been kind of underwhelming unfortunately. but the service was nice and it’s still a good option especially in the wintertime.
I've stopped in here quite a few times and have no complaints. The soups are delicious and hearty! I really appreciate that the staff asks if you would like noodles added to the chicken soup, and if so how much. Also, the biscuit that pairs with the chicken pot pie soup is buttery and flaky goodness. Worth a try!
