I'm very happy to have learned about the solar assisted heat pump water system that Bruce and co install. I had one installed at my home in September, and it is working great. I am so excited to have it! John, Bruce, and Donna, have been wonderful to work with - very responsive, helpful, friendly, flexible and easy going.
Great local alternative for efficient and affordable hot water. John and Bruce were very responsive with information and answers to my early questions. They followed through with a quick one day installation by an experienced team that relocated the new tank for much faster hot water than the old on demand unit. The price soundly beat quotes for a conventional, combined heat pump model with a better MA rebate for the split design. On top of that, the warranty is much longer than the competitor's overpriced extended warranty.
Knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and flexible. Unexpectedly needed a new hot water tank installed within a three week window. Bruce and John responded right away to my initial communication, along with all follow up communications. Install completed in one day, and they were able to get it done within my tight install window. System has run exactly as they described since day 1. Very happy with the product and New England Solar Hot Water.
I believe in this technology for DHW heating. Hope to see these as a more common solution in the future. Happy for the rebate in MA as well as the option to disable the electric resistance backup - I haven't needed them. No change to my DHW performance or temp since converting and and I'm seeing minimal kWh impact on these sunny days. Thanks Bruce, John, and install team - everything has been as advertised!
New England Solar Hot Water installed our system in a single day, overcoming the hurdle that our incoming city water valve didn't quite shut off completely. They did a good-looking job, and as a mechanical engineer I'm pretty confident that we'll never have to enable the backup resistance heating element in our 80-gallon tank.
