An excellent specialist that Tamworth is very lucky to have! Highly diligent and an expert in her field. I am very grateful to Dr Mallawathantri for her help concerning my mother. She addressed multiple confusions that had resulted from incorrect hospital discharge papers over an 18-month period, conflicting opinions from various teams, and problems/side effects with too many medications. Absolutely 💯 brilliant dr and staff couldn't b more willing to assist thier patients, obviously dr mallawathantri is a leader in this field and clearly utilising all the tools available for her patients,the staff are genuinely helpful to patients visiting and steer them in the right direction i look forward to future visits ..
The doctor appeared competent, but, the staff were a different story. Disfunctional would be a polite description.
I found Dr. Mallawathantri to be a highly capable respiratory physician, which is great because apart from the hospital, she is the only one in Tamworth! I saw her when I was quite sick, and she ordered an immediate battery of tests for my condition plus immediate emergency medication which proved very helpful. She also changed my ongoing medication, making it simpler and more effective. She is currently handling my ongoing care for bronchiectasis and asthma. I think Tamworth is lucky to have such a competent specialist.
