I hired New England Floor Sanding to sand and refinish my hardwood floors. First, I must say I have had a hobby of refinishing wood furniture for the last 50 years. I have also completely refinished the floors at my previous home by myself twice. Once in 1988 and again 20 years later. Update: Sam came out and offered to make things right any way he could, redoing work, or even paying for someone else to redo it. He seemed very genuine about wanting to do better - I appreciate his effort and his desire to do right by us. Original review: Sam quoted a very reasonable price and showed up quickly. However, we've seen what good floor refinishing looks like, and this was not it.
