David Hoppe is AMAZING! He is basically Whale Wikipedia! We had am amazing time, also his photos of the whales are so good! Make sure to order the whale photos from him, you will love it.
We had an amazing whale watching excursion with Captain Jack and naturalist David. Captain Jack is a very skilled captain focusing on safety for the passengers and marine life. He was able to get us to where we needed to be to have the best views of the whales while knowing how to respect the animals and safely and comfortably navigate the waters with them. Well, we didn’t get to see any humpback whales but Captain Jack and our guide Wes were both so awesome. It was obvious they did everything they could to try and we saw a mink whale as well as tons of different seal species. Others with me were sore after but I absolutely loved the boat and thought it was extremely comfortable. It was way more fun on this boat than some giant ship. We would definitely go with NE Eco Adventures on our next trip on the water!
We had an excellent time. We saw two humpback whales, two fin whales, and a bunch of seal at Boon Island. Our driver, Captain Jack, and our wildlife specialist (not his actual title his actual title was cooler than that) David were exceptionally knowledgeable and fun. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with New England EcoAdventures in Kennebunkport! From start to finish, the tour was exceptional. Captain Jack was clearly a very seasoned and experienced mariner. His attention to passenger comfort was remarkable—he was constantly reading the conditions and adjusting the boat’s speed, slowing down or accelerating as needed to navigate the swells and provide the smoothest ride possible.
