Stare at stingrays from the spiral staircase of the Great Ocean Tank (so big, they actually built the aquarium around it) or cradle a hermit crab (carefully) in the Touch Tank.
If there is a long line, just go to the imax and buy tickets there and get to see a 3D show for only $6 more! Like a fast pass!
Teachers get into the Aquarium free... IMAX get no discount... despite what they said at educator night here...
Say hi to Myrtle, the 550 lb Sea Turtle swimming around in the Giant Ocean Tank. If you can, watch a feeding. She likes Brussel Sprouts!
Libraries have free passes. Then take a walk along the harbor, free day better view
Head out on the boat for whale watching tours - lots of fun!
FREE! Stop by the outdoor Atlantic harbor seal tank. Six seals play year round in the glass enclosed tank.
$40 gets you some up close and personal playtime with the seals. Call way in advance, once a day at 3:30. Really fun!
Wait for the student afternoons or discounted times. See the sea lion show, the huge cylindrical tank in the center, and see an IMAX about sharks. The penguins are hilarious.
