I really enjoy coming here. Being trained one on one improved my health, figure, and confidence tenfold. I’ve never experienced any of the bad complaints some of these other reviews claim. The staff is very friendly, it’s clean, and you’re spoken to like a friend rather than from a place of superiority. All of your questions get answered and Mr. Phillip doesn’t give up on you even if it takes you a while to do the proper form fir the exercises. This disgusting hole in the wall gym is firstly not even worth your time. I went with my grandfather a few times who said he chose the gym for "its quietness." I quickly learned why it was so quiet. Barely even an underground gym, what bothered me the most is the way he treated the employees. I overheard several inappropriate, quite disgusting (even from a guys point of view) remarks he made to one female employee during my work out. New dorp Fitness - Where should I start? First off cleanliness is not even a minor priority. I think the owner thinks if his mirrors are constantly cleaned people wont notice the slime that coats every inch of all the circa 1980's dumbells and Sears special treadmills. There are no dissenfective spray bottles available which im sure is a cost cutting measure.If there are more than 6 people in the gym at the same time it becomes too crowded (not an exaggeration).
