Every person has their own opinion. My opinion this place was horrible. The workers talk down to you they cussed every one of those girls were there because they had to be to keep their kids over to stay out of jail they didn't take it serious. I I went cuz I needed help they did not detox me they didn't give me phone printed images nothing! People stole my stuff. From the outside of new directions treatment center it looks like a decent place for recovery, but unfortunately not the woman working the front desk. I was dropping off a child to a scheduled visit with a resident of this program. The staff member had me waiting for the resident outside with no words why for a very long time. And then proceeded to tell me to reschedule with no explanation. This place saved my Life. 5 yrs clean.
I graduated New Directions Sept 1995 its the GREATEST thing that could have happened in my life was to make the decision change my life, I'm clean today and 30 yrs and counting.
I am still sober to this day... April 1st, 2025 will be 25 years, not going to lie... it's not easy to get back on the right track of sobriety and life itself.
