My Grandson has been trying for over two months to get a completion letter so he can get his license back. He is now in college and working. He lives in Illinois and he went to New Directions- which they need directions on how to do their job. They said they would email the papers he need. Never did. Then they said they would fax them. The receptionist (Kathy I believe) is such a sweet lady!! I enjoyed talking with her while I was checking in and she was extremely helpful. My counselor was Sheila and she was also very enjoyable to speak to and extremely empathetic. She gets straight to the point but is also a great conversationalist in between. Both Sheila and Kathy were helpful in ensuring I could create a schedule that worked for me. I called Thursday and had an appointment by Friday morning. I feel really bad for whoever has the Councilor named Sheila. Unprofessional, Lies, Not Caring, Gives out Clients Names outside of work, Can be a Hit or Miss on if she is really Listening to you. Go to another person for a Councilor if you are smart!!

They do a lot to help the community. They're now called Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) but everybody knows them as New Directions and they keep themselves as New Directions in they phone book. Not to be confused with Clinton Substance Abuse Council.
