Referred by Menards — bit the hand that feeds him, then hung up on me I was referred to Tom directly by the countertop specialist at Menards in South Elgin, who spoke highly of him. My ask was simple: I had purchased laminate countertops and needed someone to come out and take accurate measurements. We picked up a flyer of general contractors at Menards and called New Dimension. After waiting 10 years we decided to remodel our SMALL old kitchen. We hired Tom Skawski to do the work. Tom is a pleasure to work with. He is very accommodating to our schedule, hard working, professional, friendly and has reasonable pricing that seniors can afford like us. Tom installed our lower cabinets, hardware and countertop. The project came out great although we still have the upper cabinets and backsplash to do (saving money for that).... read more
