I am extremely angry at how the billing is handled by Dawn and would absolutely NOT recommend this practice. My son went here for a simple covid test, through the car window, last year. The service we received was not at all reflected in what was billed to the insurance company. Also, I paid $50 at the time of service and have no idea where that money went as my responsibility from the insurance company was only $47.88. They are sending me a bill for a Covid test I paid for and put through insurance over a year ago and refuse to answer the phone about it.
This Pandemic has been challenging for us all. My family and I all work with the public. I’m soo happy I found New Dawn. New Dawn has been a LIFESAVER for us when we have had our panic moments and thought we might have been exposed. At times CVS or our local Urgent Care had crazy wait times to get in. I love that an actual MD, Dr Geller, comes out to our car and checks our pulse Ox, temperature and listens to our lungs. All the while not having to go in and possibly be exposed. They charged our insurance $310 for a 10 second covid test, claiming that if the doctor came out to our car it's considered a doctor office visit , obviously it wasn't mentioned previously when we scheduled the appointment (I wouldn't be complaining for a second if they would've mentioning it earlier). I would strongly recommend not to use their services!
Dr Geller is amazing ,intelligent and compassionate I have struggled with addiction for 15 plus years but with his help and a lot of self work I have obtained 4+ years of sobriety which I never thought was possible. I highly recommend this facility they genuinely care for each patient as apposed to seeing people/addicts as dollar signs which in my experience many doctors do ..
