New Dawn did what I thought was impossible to do. They freed me from my physical addiction to Alcohol. They provide a clean and safe professional and comfortable environment to do something that can be very I uncomfortable despite what the addiction of the person may be. The staff and therapists were professional and supportive as well as informative. The food was good and I am still sober today. I was there through the 4th of july weekend. Very professional, my experience was great, all the all the counselors and managers were very helpful in my Road to sobriety and recovery highly recommend inpatient and to follow up with IOP. Alumni aftercare is awesome thank you New Dawn
I was hoping to share most of my story here for other women to consider before coming to New Dawn but it won’t allow me to write everything so here’s the shortened version: First of all, this is NOT gender specific like it says on the website. This is a house with 10 beds, for both men and women. Was not informed I would be the ONLY female at the Reno residential inpatient location. In a recovery environment that is a huge red flag for women. No transportation available for groups so it’s all done via zoom. Half the amenities they claimed to have, hadn’t been established yet. Unprofessional and unwelcoming vibe.
Amazing place. Very welcoming, the staff is great! Was referred here for a family member that needed help.
