Great Counseling center
I completed my internship at New Dawn. The staff and therapists, case managers, and support staff were true professionals. This a supportive environment for a trainee or intern to learn new skills and work with adults, children, teens, couples, and families. First off, I doubt many people will rate this because they may not want to admit they go to counseling. I was one of those people. I had this preconceived notion about counseling based on previous experiences with counselors in college. I never thought I would need counseling, but I was wrong. My time here was great. I loved going to my weekly sessions and getting the help I needed. I slowly saw my progress over time, and I'm thankful I was able to get the services. This place has a counselor by the name of Evelyn. She is very arrogant, rude, a know it all, serms to pick sides, and a feminist. She works with children yet she has none of her own. These things have made me feel very isolated, she sees my child against my compliance. He doesn't share a thing with her because she makes my child feel very uncomfortable as well.
