A bit nervous to go after reading some of the online reviews but was only met with warm staff and professionalism. Sincere thanks to the nurses who saw me and treated me with so much compassion and empathy, and certainly knew their field inside out.
I used to rely on New Croft in my late teens, and back then it was genuinely one of the best services around. The staff were warm and welcoming, the building was clean, and getting an appointment, while not always instant, was usually straightforward. Good luck if you intend on getting an appointment. Calling 08:30am on either Monday or Tuesday is the only way to get an appointment, and thats only if you manage to get in before the rest of Newcastle calls up too. Why I can’t just book an appointment a week ahead is beyond me. The service is in absolute shambles.
Very poor service, since moving from NHS to solutions 4 health. Many services have been reduced. No appointments. Access is limited. Only 1 toilet for all rooms. Dodgy area. Wouldn’t recommend. It needs serious improvement. Test kits have to be ordered but never arrive. Absolute joke. Building and area is really bad. No ventilation in building and just awful and weird. Have to ring to enter and is located in a dodgy area.
