Definitely not the best Chinese buffet, but also not the worst. The staff was very friendly, but the food overall was just mehhh. We are not in Marion often, but I think next time we're in town, we will definitely try somewhere else. It wasn't awful, but for 4 of us to eat (before tip) was $65. It was definitely not worth the price for us.

"Disappointing experience at The China House in Marion, VA. Ordered the General Tso's spicy chicken, which was mostly hard breading and not enough chicken. The shrimp fried rice was dry. Today, I tried the sweet and sour chicken, which was basically a fried dough ball with minimal chicken. The rice was dry again. My mom's beef and broccoli had raw veggies. Maybe they'll improve but I doubt it. For now, not impressed and won't be going

We ate at the buffet, the severs and staff was nice. The food was another story. I know the outside temperatures have dropped but I guess the didn’t get the memo to turn the heat up on the food. The fried dumplings was stale and cold. The orange chicken said spicy… my husband could eat it and he has a spice tolerance of a 2 yr old. The rice was either old or not made correctly because it was dry and crispy. I wish that was the case for the egg rolls, they was soggy and cold.
