It's a shame I can not give a minus 5. The person that picked up the hospice equipment from my mother's home said that it was noted on his chart to pick up said equipment because the patient had passed away. That was simply false. I dismissed New Century Hospice because of the quality of care we received. Do your research before making the decision to go with any hospice company, most are just in it for the money.

I want to recognize Nurse Kayleena RN at New Century Hospice in Pleasanton for the outstanding care she provides. She is attentive, respectful, and compassionate in every interaction. Her kindness and professionalism bring comfort and reassurance during a very difficult time. Kayleena truly goes above and beyond to make sure patients and families feel supported, educated and cared for. We are deeply grateful for her dedication and the difference she makes... it is noteworthy to mention I am an RN of 20 years.

RN was slow to respond. Oncall RN at night when my father was in crisis was snarky. Acted as if we were a bother when she had to come out late at night because he was struggling to breath. Medications never delivered on time. We often run out and are waiting. Same with his pull ups. We run out and then scramble to the store to buy more. Awful care. 0 stars given

My mother is currently with New Century hospice at her home. The nurses have all been very caring, kind, and gentle. The CNA, Yuri, has been exceptional. Always positive and goes above and beyond to help out in any way she can. My mother also enjoys the visits from Alfonso, the chaplain and the bible verses he reads to her.
