My mother is currently with New Century hospice at her home. The nurses have all been very caring, kind, and gentle. The CNA, Yuri, has been exceptional. Always positive and goes above and beyond to help out in any way she can. My mother also enjoys the visits from Alfonso, the chaplain and the bible verses he reads to her.
My grandma loved the CNA Rey so much. He was so caring and gentle with her, although she was reluctant to have a male take care of her in the beginning of her hospice journey. He won her over and she looked forward to every visit with him. Nurse Amanda is amazing, educating, and so caring. She was the family favorite and always came over with a smile. I wish I had more good things to say. As a former RN case manager with 10 yrs of Hospice experience I was disappointed. From the beginning there was poor communication with the out of hospital DNR not making it onto the ambulance. The hospital bed breaking, the equipment not being picked up after family member passed when I was told it would be. I’m sorry but having it sit in your home is not acceptable. My mother Matilda Garza had an amazing experience with this company. From Social Worker Andreas, he made sure we got everything we need for funeral arrangements. Made sure we weren’t going to pay big amounts! Since a lot of funeral companies try to charge you the most when mourning (sad I know) Mr Andreas will see my mom once a month and he will call her every 2 weeks just to check up on her!
