My 91 year old mom has been at Cedar Heights AFH for 2 1/2 years. The workers are always so sweet to my mom and she is VERY well taken care of. The ratio of workers to residents is amazing! The most residents they will take is 6 and there is ALWAYS at least 2 staff at the house 24 hours a day. The owner, Emmanuel, is always doing updates on the house or yard to make it better and it is a very nice house with nice comfortable furniture for the residents. My mom has been living at Cedar Heights for over a year and a half. I have nothing negative to say about this beautiful AFH. It is very clean and all of the residents seem to be happy. The owner is very good at communicating and has sent photos of holiday gatherings and birthday celebrations over the past year. I highly recommend the fantastic AFH.
We were fortunate to find a room at Cedar Heights AFH for our mother after a fall in 2018. The caregivers at Cedar Heights provided a warm, caring environment for mom. My wife and I toured several adult family homes when searching for a place for mom, Cedar Heights was the cleanest, warmest and most normal family environment; it felt like our house, not a “facility”. My Mother after being in an Assisted living facility for 7 years had physical needs that the facility were unable to provide. So we began the process in finding a good fit for Mom. We were able to visit a number of facilities even in the Covid times we are in. All of the facilities offered similar ammenities, but Cedar Heights AFH provided superior staffing , coupled with a home like, friendly and loving environment.
