I like that the New Carrollton Pool is usually clean and not overcrowded, which makes it a nice place to swim. Unfortunately, the staff and overall atmosphere really took away from the experience. Several of the lifeguards were rude and spoke to children in a disrespectful way. I watched two young girls stand on the pool ladder for less than a minute before one lifeguard yelled at them.
