I have been told the facility has changed, so I am unsure whether anyone this review pertains to will see it. I attended New Beginnings as a minor in the fall of 2016. It was one of my most pivotal life shaping experiences. I came in addicted to heroin, and while I continued to struggle & cycle through treatment centers for another 4 years afterward, this place gave me my foundation. This place is a horrible place to receive treatment at if you're a Veteran looking to get clean, stay clean, and be treated with some dignity and respect. This place is not fully VA sponsored in the aspect that if you file for total temporary disability for the time that you receive treatment here past thirty days. Meaning the VA will not recognize it as being hospitalized for addiction if you have PTSD and addiction is secondary to your PTSD.
