Come on in as a male if you'd like to spend a month or more with 55 or so mostly young felons trying to stay out of jail. In the words of my primary counselor "We'll take anyone." The clientele is almost uniformly rude and disruptive, and in some cases out of their minds. No kidding - I went there with high hopes, that hit the dirt before I did my first night. Warning! They put my sister back on a narcotic right before discharge, and during family visitation she was high out of her mind!! This is the same narcotic she has abused in the past. She had been clean for over a month but was able to manipulate New Beginnings staff into putting her back on the narcotic. She is now worse than before she came in!
