These jokers will waste your time.
I have had no problem with New American Funding. They were able to close my loan in 11 days vs. the original lender I was going to go with and had the same rate, so it was kind of a no brainer. I was going on 43 days with my other lender so I decided to cancel and get my money back from them and went with New American and loved every step. Not sure why the other review is 1 star when it seems to be that they are more upset about PHH then New American. I mean know the business? The deal I got was still pretty good but, the service was absolutely terrible, I took them 2 months to refinance my home. I had to be on top of the mortgage broker and underwriters every step of the way. Why pay a mortgage broker if you have to do all the leg work and coordination. They miscalculated escrow, paid taxes and insurance premiums that had already been paid. Despite my attempts to provide documentation that these items were already taken care of. I purchased a home with New American Funding and had no issues till now. My loan is now being serviced by PHH Mortgage Services, which is no big deal for a loan service to be sold to another company. But the company that New American Funding has chosen to service my loan is horrible so far. Shame on New American Funding for doing business with such a shady company.
