New Albany -Optalis Health and Rehabilitation Center is a Great Facility. Brenda Garrett is a receptionist at the front desk and she was very helpful. On Labor Day Brenda gave me a tour of the facility and showed me the size of the rooms, dining area and the rehab gym. Brenda also scheduled my father to get a haircut and shave. The Nursing staff have given great care and have been so attentive to my father. They scheduled two different necessary appointments and arranged transportation for him. The whole staff was excellent during my stay. HAILEY, HAYLEY, and ALONZIA were exceptional. The team that worked with me was great. The whole organization was A+.
Previously this was a nice facility with a great staff before they sold to this company. Do not place your loved one here, whether rehabilitation or senior living care. Paint peeling off the walls, lights don’t work, food not fit for a dog, lack of staff beyond words! I’ve worked in Senior Healthcare and this is some of the worst care I’ve seen.
The DON MELISSA OSSA is very kind and helpful!! I appreciate her willingness to help me and my loved one when the social worker put little effort in. The place is clean and not busy. My loved one is happy here
Our Dad was always well cared for every time he rehabbed at New Albany Gardens and Care. The staff are hard-working and caring. We appreciate everything they did for him.
