Hats off to the New Albany Fire Department who helped me this morning when my tree caught on fire by a power line. Very confident, competent and compassionate. Honored to to pay taxes to support them.
I live on the 15th floor of Riverview Towers. I would like to thank the firemen for assisting me down the steps last night when there was a fire on the 14th floor. I am legally blind and one of the firemen even carried my cat in her carrier for me so it would be easier for me to navigate the steps. Thank you to all of the department for your kindness and help.
I want to say thank you for your hard work and dedication. Your department has been amazing since YEMS has started covering the city. I personally want to thank each and everyone of your crews for all the assistance you guys have helped provide on scene with my partners and I. Some runs wouldn’t had been as successful with out the help of NAFD.
They are our true dedicated hero's! I salute and honor their bravery. They are Indiana's finest!
