Very nice people and great service. I drive all the way from wayne county to get a haircut here. Never have had a bad haircut from this place. Definitely would recommend if you have thick asian hair or other hair styles

Mrs. Ying is incredibly kind and sweet. We moved from Florida to Michigan and spent a long time trying to find the right place. Even after visiting several salons, we could not find one that truly matched our expectations until we came here. This was the only place that not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. Perfect local spot if you want a reliable cut without the extra fluff. I’ve always noticed it takes a few weeks to really love how a new style sits on me, so this is the perfect economical medium. Happy to support a local longstanding mom and pop shop

As someone who is super scared of getting haircuts I am super relieved to have found New Age Salon. June was amazing, she listened closely to what I was hoping for and helped me get the haircut I wanted. Asian hair is difficult to cut. There is no doubt that she is a pro with her 40 years of experience. She's worked with long term regulars and doesn't have the heart raise her prices. June is like a lovely neighbour. I will be going back.
