I have been here two other times before. I liked the place. The receptionist was a nice young lady, well mannered and professional. Dr.Carr was wonderful!! BUT the third time I went it was HORRIBLE!!! The receptionist this time, was VERY impatient, VERY rude, she was a GROUCH!! NOT professional at all! I noticed in the reviews that there are a couple of people that have experienced this. My question is... why is this company keeping her?? It shows bad on them as a business!!! I would have fired her!!
I have had nothing but good experiences here. Dr. Carr has always been a great doctor and done heavy work on my foot; all done professionally and quickly. He listens to my concerns, makes sure they are addressed, and helps me in what way he can. The receptionist everyone speaks of overall isn’t that bad, she just has a very no-nonsense attitude and she’s never been rude to me personally. Overall, I will continue to use Dr. Carr for all my foot and ankle needs!
As others have said, receptionist is a grumpy, very rude old woman that needs to retire. She yells at the patients in the waiting room, she is just AWFUL. The Dr I saw took less than 20 seconds to shave a small callous off my foot and charged $228, $115 of which I have to pay. This is absolutely disgusting and ANOTHER reason why the Healthcare system in the US I'd BROKEN beyond repair. These people are total crooks. Avoid at all costs.
I recently called New Age Foot and Ankle Surgery in Farmville, VA, and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The receptionist I spoke with was rude, had a snobbish attitude, and hung up on me before I could finish my sentence. I was also transferred without being told I was being transferred. First impressions matter, and this interaction was disappointing and unprofessional.
