Very dismissive and standoffish. I went in for inflammation issues. I was referred and chose this location for convenience. I don’t feel like I was heard by this doctor. I feel gaslighted. About two months ago I went into this office for the first time, and everything above is how I felt. I went on to take the blood work and do the x-rays. Dr. Udwadia was the physician on call while my rheumatologist was out of town. I called and left a voicemail with a question and he called back the same day and spent time on the phone with me to explain the options, risks and his recommendation. I really appreciate how quickly he got back to me, the detailed questions he asked and his conservative (less risky) treatment. Thank you!
I was referred to Dr. Uwadia by my primary care doctor that I use to have with Montage Medical Health. Dr. Uwadia is located in the old hospital in downtown Monterey near the post office. The office staff were friendly but I had a fairly long wait beyond my scheduled appointment time. I believe I waited 45 minutes beyond the scheduled visit time. Dr. Udwadia is a kind and caring doctor. He is thorough and meticulous in his examinations, and takes time to answer my questions and address any concerns I have. His office staff members are warm, friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Udwadia.
