Going through a mental health crisis is one of the hardest things a person can experience, and walking into the Crisis Stabilization Unit was honestly scary. Went there last week. It is a 24/7 service but only one nurse was there named Zack and he said he couldn't help me because no one else was there. I eventually went and got my vitals done. When I asked the nurse in scrubs who he was he claimed he was a doctor and when I asked him to confirm he walked away and hid for the rest of my visit. I eventually got to talk to some shady worker named "Joe Kemp" and he was hiding his name badge and being sneaky. I've been here multiple times for when I come down with an episode where I can't think straight and it took all I had to just drive myself there to desperately get some help in calming down, I genuinly feel like I might hurt myself in those moments, and on God every time without fail I walk in and they look at me like they've never seen me in there life and say what do you want? The reviews speak for themselves! I would give zero stars if it was a possibility. Do your research as the only positive reviews are from friends/family of the people who work there! I am a professional working in the mental health field who has previously sent clients here. However, solely only do the fact it is the only place to send them locally. If your abuser shows up to also get treatment there, they do not care. They also have no empathy for people struggling with toxic relationships
