Nothing but the best Dr. Knowles is the most caring vet and very knowledgeable. He has a demenor that animals respond to and he is just amazing at treating new and aging cats and dogs. He has always been a pleasure. There is a reason you can't get into this vet. They can't take any more clients because they wouldn't be able to service their current ones. I call that not greedy.

Only accept clients in Their Circle! Arrogant Business. They won't take anyone not in their 'circle'. My niece knew a friend of theirs so they accepted her as a new client. I called today (as well as my brother in 2010) to get an appointment and they said 'We don't take anyone new' to both of us! What a lousy business taking up space in New Bern! No new customers for years, yet they add from their Circle! Phhhh! Just snooty and rude!
not given a chance Was not able to see Dr. Knowles. Did research, to find that hes the best vet in New Bern, and at this time, is not taking any new clients. So that was very disappointing.
Neuse Veterinary Clinic review My husband and I started taking our dogs to Dr. Knowles about 6 years ago when we moved to New Bern. We moved about 45 minutes from New Bern a little over a year ago and still take our dogs there for many reasons. First, Dr. Knowles is just an excellent Vet. Trustworthy/kind/excellent care of pets My cats and my dog all have gone to Dr. Fred since we moved to this area 20 years ago. He's serene, efficient, and has a wonderful quietly kind and gentle way with animals. He's the best vet in New Bern, and maybe the whole state of NC! I trust him with the health of all my pets and am proud to recommend him to others.
Couldn't be a better vet. We had been taking our Miniature Schnauzer to Dr. Knowles since 1999 and could not have asked for a better vet, staff or costs. Recently it was necessary to put our dog down due to age and condition. Dr. Knowles and staff showed the utmost in consideration, professionalism and caring during this difficult time for my wife and I. I would not hesitate to recommend Neuse Veterinary Clinic to anyone and....a big Thank You for all you have done for Bryan and us to the Dr. Knowles and staff.
Wonderful Vet! I highly recommend took Great Care of Mom and Pups I would like to personally thank Dr Knowles and his staff for the care and treatment of our Standard Poodles and the nine very healthy and happy poodle pups. He was always quick to see them when needed and took great care. We will continue to use him in the future.
World class veterinary clinic Dr. Knowles is by far the BEST vet available in New Bern. He has gift for working with animals. He is kind, gentle and the prices are more than reasonable. If you have an emergency and need pet care right away, this IS the place to go. The staff here are wonderful, they really care about animals and it shows. Even if this was the most expensive vet in town, I would still bring my cats here because of the quality of care they provide.
