I’m proud of Dr. Johans, I highly recommend him to take care of your back needs. I’m very happy with the surgery he did for me, I’m back to normal.
From the first time I met with Dr. Johans, he put me at ease. He took my concerns seriously, explained things well, and took the time to answer my questions. It has been almost a year since my spinal fusion surgery, L3-L5, and my results have been nothing short of amazing. The recovery period wasn't easy, but I was back to reasonably normal activities within 8 weeks, and was skiing 6 months after surgery. I am so thankful to be free of lower back pain and sciatica and to be active once again.
I am 1 year post surgery of spinal fusion of L4, L5 and S1. Dr Johans gave it to me straight and I knew what to expect post surgery. It was difficult to get around at first, but over a few weeks of following his orders, things progressively improved. I think PT was very beneficial to my recovery too. If you need any spine work, I strongly recommend Dr. Johans.
I had a micro discectomy at L5-S1. I was in so much pain leading up to this an have been essentially pain feee since surgery. I felt very comfortable at my visit. Dr Johans explained what I was going through and how to fix it in terms I could understand. I was comfortable enough with him that I let him operate on me within days of meeting him.
