College Park Family Care Center is overpriced and unreasonable. They have terrible customer service and when compared with others providers in the area, you are overpaying! They nickel and dime all customers in every area possible, including printing one copy of a medical record for personal use. Avoid this company at all cost, or it will cost you!
Do not trust this office staff. They gave me false information on what my responsibility of cost would be after insurance paid. When I called to ask them to help me speak with the insurance company, they informed me this is my responsibility to take care of myself. Alyssa in the billing department refused to help me in anyway. Although the amount quoted to me by two members of the staff and the amount billed was 500% more. The worst service ever. Dr. Doesn't listen and nurses seldom call you back or get your referrals called in. If you want your medical records they won't release them directly to you and if a doctor requests then you will be charged from a corporation in Atlanta.
If it was possible to give no star rating I would. This office is completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and a complete waste of time. I showed up for an appointment with them on Monday and they were not open! No one was there! My appointment was set for Monday the 28 of October at 8am. I double checked when I got home. If you are ever referred here don't waste your time just ask for another referral.
I would not recommend anyone to this place for anything. They are rude, inconsiderate, and insensitive. Not accommodating at all. They should be a bit more understandable. I was 15 minutes late until my appt. because I had to work, I Still got there 15 before my due time I didn't get to sign in right away either because there was an older woman in front of me who had a walker and obviously was in pain I am not going to rush around her and rudely sign in..???! . I have been a patient of Dr Fisher's for the past several years. During that time I've had several unusual illnesses & become disabled as a result. She has always gone above & beyond the norm to try to treat me or to refer me to someone if she doesn't feel she is the best choice for a particular illness. She's never accused me of malingering or made me feel foolish for my many symptoms. I think this place is great --everyone is very friendly. The waiting room is comfy and I have not had to wait very long to be seen.
