The people here are horrendously rude. The wait time just to get checked in takes forever. Most unhelpful doctors. No one there wants to work or go the extra mile just to be courteous. You have to advocate for yourself here or they'll walk all over you. People should be able to just go get the medical help they need instead of having to fight for their rights every step of the way. My experience with this neurology department has been deeply disappointing and, at times, traumatizing. It took me over 12 months just to get an appointment. After finally being seen, the ball was completely dropped. Despite living with chronic migraines including cluster and static migraines I went over eight months without any follow-up or communication. The treatment I’ve received has been both cruel and unacceptable. I had an argument with a receptionist at the neurology department at this location, which was bad enough—but what followed was even worse. When I had a serious reaction to a migraine medication, the on-call neurologist was shockingly dismissive. Without even seeing me or running any tests, they refused to believe I was having an allergic reaction, insisting instead that it was just anxiety. This wasn’t just poor care—it was gross negligence.
